Tech Expo Origin

Tech Expo Origin

Showcasing Ability Technologies For Home, Work and School.

In 2015, the Conductive Education Center of Orlando, CECO, recognized the need for a technologically driven community event that would educate and assist persons with cerebral palsy and other motor disabilities. So CECO set out to launch such an event by garnering support from the likes of the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation, the Orlando Science Center, Publix Supermarkets' Charities, Full Sail University, Adventist University of Health Sciences - Florida Hospital's University, Florida Institute of Technology, just to name a few. Without these great and generous community leaders assisting, the 2016 Make It Possible Abilities Tech Expo would not have been possible.

Now entering year two, the 2017 Abilities Tech Expo seeks to merge the components of education, rehabilitation, and interactive technology and its effectiveness in working with persons with motor disabilities throughout their lifespans. The expo displays technological innovations that meet the needs of persons with motor disabilities. These innovations assist those with motor disabilities in becoming as independent as possible at home, in the office, outdoors, in the car, and in the classroom.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2017 Abilities Tech Expo on Friday, March 3, 2017 and Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Orlando Science Center.
